Crater of Mt Popa. When it erupted long time ago the crater was cut opened and now seen as a C-shape hole with thick forest in it, giving a habitat for wild pig, monkey and other animals. The best time to explore the crater is in the summer time ( from January to May ). In the photo ( taken August 2001 ) the crater was partly covered by clouds.
